What You Need
Before you start cheating, you will need the following:
A PC with Windows 7 or higher.
Sid Meiers Civilization VI: Digital Deluxe [v 1.0.0.220 DLCs] installed on your PC. You can buy it from CDKeys or Civilization.com. The Digital Deluxe edition includes the full base game, 25th Anniversary Digital Soundtrack, and access to four post-launch DLC packs that add new maps, scenarios, civilizations, and leaders.
Cheat Engine 7.2 or higher installed on your PC. You can download it for free from CheatEngine.org.
How to Cheat
Once you have everything ready, follow these steps to cheat in Sid Meiers Civilization VI: Digital Deluxe [v 1.0.0.220 DLCs]:
Launch Sid Meiers Civilization VI: Digital Deluxe [v 1.0.0.220 DLCs] and start a new game or load an existing one.
Launch Cheat Engine and click on the Select a process to open button (the computer icon) on the top left corner of the window.
Select CivilizationVI.exe from the list of processes and click Open.
In Cheat Engine, click on the Add Address Manually button (the green plus icon) on the top right corner of the window.
Type BaseAddress in the Description field and paste this value in the Address field: CivilizationVI.exe+01D4A6A8
Click OK. You should see a new entry called BaseAddress in the address list.
Right-click on BaseAddress and select Pointer scan for this address.
In the pointer scan window, click First scan. Wait for the scan to finish.
Select any result from the pointer list and click OK. You should see a new entry called BaseAddress with a pointer icon in the address list.
Right-click on BaseAddress and select Find out what accesses this address.
In the new window that opens, switch back to Sid Meiers Civilization VI: Digital Deluxe [v 1.0.0.220 DLCs] and do something that changes your gold amount, such as buying a unit or building.
Switch back to Cheat Engine and look for an instruction that has [BaseAddress+XXXXXXXX] in it, where XXXXXXXX is a hexadecimal value.
Double-click on that instruction and click Yes when prompted to add it to the code list.
In the code list, right-click on the instruction and select Replace with code that does nothing. This will freeze your gold amount at its current value.
