Panchayat Season 2 Complete Pack
Panchayat season 3 will involve eight episodes and is set to be released in April 2023 on Amazon Prime Video. The show features a talented cast, including Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, and Faisal Malik. The storyline for season 3 has been kept under wraps, but it is expected to follow the lives of three panchayats in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. The previous two seasons were well received, and fans are eagerly anticipating the release of season 3.[35]
Amazon Prime Video has finally returned with the second season of Panchayat (after almost two years). While the first season introduced us to Abhishek (Jitendra Kumar) and his struggles while trying to settle in Phulera, the second season focuses more on the trivial issues of the village and how Abhishek tries to solve them, with Brij Bhushan Dubey (Raghubir Yadav), panchayat head Manju Devi's (Neena Gupta) husband, his assistant Vikas (Chandan Roy) and deputy pradhan, Prahlad (Faisal Malik) at his helm. But with new romance brewing around the corner, will Abhishek manage to handle his panchayat duties while preparing for MBA? Find out in this spoiler-free review.
After garnering positive reviews for their collaborative effort with Amazon Prime Video, The Viral Fever has returned with the second season of 'Panchayat' and they have managed to retain their simiplicity and relatability once again. While actor Jitendra Kumar's honest act wins hearts, the addition of renowned veterans like Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav just raise the show's bar to the next level. While the makers have managed to maintain the tone of the show, the second season takes us on an entertaining joyride filled with grass-root level issues and the unconventional methods adopted the panchayat members to solve them.
Meanwhile, the addition of cynical couple Bhushan (Durgesh Kumar) and his Kranti (Sunita Rajwar) adds the much needed spice to the good-going narrative as the latter's tussle with pradhan Manju Devi indirectly allows more screen time for Neena Gupta's character. Plus the change in Abhishek's attitude as the Sachiv of the panchayat cannot go unmissed as Jitendra leaves no stone unturned in pulling off the little nauces with perfection. Plus, his character looks for calm and motivated now than the previous season, where he was struggling to accept the reality of him being stuck in village bureaucracy.
For the unversed, Panchayat season 2 is releasing after almost two years. When asked what it was like to regroup with the Panchayat crew, Neena Gupta pointed out that shooting for season 2 was like completing unfinished business. She said, "It honestly felt like that we left some unfinished business and returned to complete it. It was the same small village where we shot, and the same place where we stayed, same actors. It was like we've never left the set. It was very easy to come back to it."
Panchayat Season 2 picks up from where it was left in the first season. While most things remain the same in Phulera village, including the Pradhan gifting laukis to Abhishek and hanging out over a pint of beer under the night sky, some things have changed. Unlike the first season, where Manju Devi's (Neena Gupta) was too shy to step out of her ghoonghat, this time she is willing. Brij Bhushan AKA Pradhan Pati (Raghuveer Yadav), however, is still reluctant to involve her in panchayati work. Also, every house in Phulera now has a toilet and the village has CCTV surveillance. Even as their issues remain as small - or big - as a lost goat or stolen chappals.
What works for Panchayat, created by The Viral Fever, who were undoubtedly the first movers in the web series space long before the streaming platforms came calling, is its simple premise. The story of an engineering graduate who, against his wishes, arrives in the village of Phulera as the panchayat secretary when all his peers were landing fancy jobs, hating every moment of it but gradually warming to the place and its people, Panchayat, in both its seasons, relies on the simplicity of its storytelling, but is never simplistic. 041b061a72
